FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
Southwest Christian seeks to attract a diverse and talented student body providing Christian Education to a broader cross section of the community. SCS is committed to providing financial assistance to students who qualify in order to provide a varied peer group within our school community. SCS follows the guidelines of FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment, a third party organization which analyzes the financial situation of applicants based on a number of factors. It is difficult to predict whether a family will qualify for financial aid, as circumstances vary so widely and the overall demand for financial aid may vary year to year.
All financial aid must be applied for annually. You must complete the FACTS Aid Assessment process and a final analysis report must be received by SCS prior to your name being considered by the FA committee. Deadline to apply is April 1, 2012. Awards are mailed out on April 27, 2012.

Financial Aid awards are granted to families demonstrating financial need and are based on the assumption that the family is allocating the maximum amount of resources they can to the educational costs of the children. Please note that no more than 50% tuition will be granted to any one student.

In determining a family's need for assistance, SCS holds both parents responsible to the full extent of their ability to pay for their child's education, regardless of the parents' marital status. To that end, SCS requires both parents to submit financial information, including annual W-2's and tax returns.
